Who can you help, and how? I can help any animator looking for critiques of their work and/or reels. I can help articulate weak points and shot selection and how to turn them into strengths. Can you tell us about yourself and your background? I have always loved drawing and movies as long as I can remember. I also have a great love for music and practiced guitar for many years. I discovered my love for drawing and movies could be combined with a career in animation at age 19 while in college and have been pursuing it ever since. How did you get to where you are now? Lots of hard work and luck in regards to timing and people vouching for me. I have made the study and practice of animation my number one priority in life since 2003. What projects have you worked on? Little Einsteins as a CG generalist. Umi Zoomi as a CG generalist. Ice age 3, Rio, Ice Age 4, Epic, Rio 2, and currently working on Peanuts. Where do you draw inspiration from? Life, Music, feats of human strength/endurance, and my wife. I try to live by Stephen King's quote : “Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration, the rest of us just get up and go to work.” Tell us something odd about yourself? I own and operate a chainsaw and love shopping for clothes.
