Can you tell us about yourself and your background? By education I'm Computer Scientist but I have loved special fx and visual fx since I was a kid. Grew up going to museums and drawing supercars and characters from my favorite anime/cartoon TV shows so the artistic side is ingrained deeply, though not as much as I'd like. My goal was to do videogames but when I was 19 I had the chance of doing some visual fx for a short with my friends and then everything changed for me, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. How did you get to where you are now? Luck, hard work, constant search for opportunities and great mentors that have pushed me to places I never thought I could reach. What projects have you worked on? Last three projects I've worked on are Prometheus, and Walking with Dinosaurs as Lead and The Lego Movie as Key Lighter Where do you draw inspiration from? For inspiration I try to look outside of the medium I work, otherwise it would be replicating something already done so my inspirations are: Photography, Contemporary realistic painters, Comics , Classical Master Painters, etc. And real life too :) Tell us something odd about yourself? As a kid I wanted to be Marine Biologist as I loved (still do) sharks and all the crazy weird critters of the deep.
